How to Test

Bayer’s CONTOUR® USB meter features simple, smooth testing with the easy accuracy of Bayer’s CONTOUR® test strips and the MICROLET®2 lancing device.

BEFORE YOU TEST, have these and other testing materials ready. You may also need Bayer’s CONTOUR® control solution to run a quality control check. Then you’ll be ready to test.

5. Result Displayed
  • Your test result is displayed in large numbers for 2 seconds before changing to the normal test result screen.
  • If your blood glucose reading is under 3.9mmol/L, the following screen will alert you that your blood glucose is low. You can change the default setting using Bayer’s GLUCOFACTS® DELUXE.
  • If your blood glucose reading is over 13.9mmol/L, the following screen will alert you that your blood glucose is high. You can change the default setting using Bayer’s GLUCOFACTS® DELUXE.
